Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-01-01 · Governed by Dutch law

1. Who we are

SamiGo Taxi is a taxi booking service operating from Malden and Nijmegen, serving the Netherlands and (on request) Belgium, Germany and France. We act as a marketplace connecting passengers with licensed taxi drivers.

2. Accepting these terms

By creating an account or booking a ride, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

3. Booking a ride

A booking becomes a binding contract once you complete payment (or confirm a pay-at-driver booking). Pricing is calculated based on the distance, duration, surcharges (night, weekend, airport) and our published tariff which is shown to you before you confirm.

4. Cancellations and refunds

You can cancel up to a configurable window before pickup with a full or partial refund according to the cancellation policy displayed on the booking page. Late cancellations and no-shows may result in no refund and a no-show fee.

5. Driver responsibilities

Our drivers are licensed taxi operators with valid Dutch chauffeurskaart. They commit to safe, punctual, and respectful service. Smoking, weapons, and unsafe behaviour are prohibited inside vehicles.

6. Passenger responsibilities

You agree to wear a seatbelt, follow the driver's safety instructions, and not damage the vehicle. Damage caused intentionally or through negligence will be charged to you.

7. Payment

Payment is processed via Mollie B.V. We accept iDEAL, Bancontact and major credit cards. All prices include 21% Dutch VAT (BTW) where applicable.

8. Liability

SamiGo Taxi's liability is limited to the price of the booking. We maintain valid commercial vehicle insurance for all rides. Personal belongings remain your responsibility.

9. Privacy

Personal data is processed according to our Privacy Policy and the EU GDPR.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before they take effect.

11. Disputes

Any disputes are subject to Dutch law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gelderland. Before going to court, please contact us at info@samigo.net — most issues can be resolved quickly.
