Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about SamiGo Taxi.
Booking
How do I book a ride?
Click 'Book now' in the menu, fill in your pickup, destination, date and time, and you'll get an instant price quote. Confirm to book.
Can I book in advance?
Yes — you can book hours, days, or weeks in advance. We recommend booking at least 1 hour ahead for guaranteed availability.
Do you operate 24/7?
Yes. SamiGo is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Night surcharges (22:00–06:00) and weekend surcharges may apply.
What areas do you cover?
Primary: Malden and Nijmegen. We also serve all of the Netherlands and on request: Belgium, Germany and France.
Pricing
How is the price calculated?
Starting fare + per-km rate (lower for trips above 20km) + applicable surcharges (night, weekend, airport). Minimum fare is €12.
Are there hidden fees?
No. The price you see at booking is the price you pay (unless you change route or wait time during the trip).
Do prices include BTW?
Yes. All prices include 21% Dutch VAT (BTW). Your invoice shows the BTW amount separately.
Can I get a quote for international trips?
Yes — for trips outside the Netherlands, contact us via WhatsApp or email and we'll send a custom quote within minutes.
Payment
How can I pay?
iDEAL (most popular in NL), Bancontact (Belgium), Visa, Mastercard, and American Express via our Mollie payment processor.
Can I pay the driver directly?
We strongly prefer pre-payment. For corporate accounts, monthly invoicing is available.
Do you give receipts/invoices?
Every completed ride gets an automatic PDF invoice with full BTW breakdown — downloadable from your account.
Cancellation
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes. Free cancellation up to a few hours before pickup. Late cancellations may incur a fee. The exact policy is shown on each booking page.
What if the driver cancels?
You receive a full refund and (where possible) we find you another driver immediately.
What if I'm a no-show?
After 15 minutes of waiting at the pickup, the driver may leave. A no-show fee applies (configurable in our policy).
Drivers
Are your drivers licensed?
Yes — every driver holds a valid Dutch driving licence and a chauffeurskaart issued by Kiwa. Vehicles are commercial-insured and APK-certified.
How can I become a SamiGo driver?
Apply via the 'Become a driver' page. Submit your documents (license, taxipas, ID, insurance, vehicle photo). We respond within 2-3 business days.
What commission do drivers pay?
20% to the platform, 80% to the driver. See the Driver Agreement for full details.
